Default 30 Rock Season 6 discussion thread

Sooo anyone wanna give any thoughts on the new season so far? (Okay, it's not new anymore, but you know what I mean).

So far I really like it. Last season was one of my favorites and I don't find it to be *quite* as consistently awesome as that was but I'm really liking how the characters are showing growth this year - especially Liz, Jenna, and Kenneth, who all seem almost revitalized this season. I had some issues with Kenneth in Season 4/5 so I'm glad they're doing so well with him this year. His rise to the top is a lot of fun to watch and I'm glad they're living up to the prophecy Jack made in Blind Date (In 5 years we'll either be working for him or dead by his hand).

I really like Liz & Criss so far as well. In fact, right now he might be on track to be my favorite of Liz's boyfriends. Okay, comedy-wise, he doesn't top Dennis...but I think he might be the best fit for her yet. I'm kind of rooting for him to be "the one" honestly. I just love seeing Liz have a solid, stable relationship. Their scene in last week's episode was one of the sweetest and best things they've done with her character.

Season 5 for all the awards but this one's doing pretty well, too. I'm still waiting to see who Kenneth REALLY is, but I assume that's a mystery that will live on until the end (or maybe forever).

Liz and Criss are working really well together. It's weird because like I've always just seen James Marsden as that really pretty guy I would not mind boning and that that dumb girl in The Notebook totally should've chosen instead of Ryan Gosling, but I'm trying to look past that. He's good to her and not a total fail like every other boyfriend of hers was. That's a plus. She's happy. I assume there will be some screwing up because bliss does not a sitcom make. Then again, the fail could focus more elsewhere rather than on her love life. But the fail still has to be there.

Anyway, since they're not going to kill off the cast of 30 Rock I assume Kenneth will rise to the top. He will. He just loves television so much.

I also foresee that Sitcoms Online will discover 30 Rock in its last season like it did with The Office. -LOL *

*Oh, is The Office not in its last season? lol yes it is.

You might be thinking of Sue, but Sue's not a page and has been there since the first season (although she only started getting speaking roles in Season 3). Hazel is the only female page.

anyone with season 1 dvd can see the female page in Jack-Tor episode, around 23:07 to 23:12. during this segment, jenna asks her "have you seen frank or toofer?" she appears again in season 5's live episode at 07:00, she is seen laughing with kenneth at the reception desk.

Oh, she's probably just an extra. I know who you're talking about, I've seen her a couple of times, I don't think she's anyone in particular though other than Random Background Page.

See the West Coast vs. East Coast differences, and the live episode was a love letter to live TV.
