Default NBC is having a disappointing fall season

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...editorsPicks_1

Ratings are down 16% in the key 18-49 demo from last year.

I'll bite.

NBC is (and has been) my favorite network. It has four of my favorite shows, "Parks and Recreation" (which is my favorite show), "The Office" (which I still like) and Law and Order SVU. SVU however is getting stale and Christopher Meloni leaving sort of dealt it a blow. L&O had a great run, it has been on TV in some form since 1990. The formula is old and it's tired, and SVU has had some ridiculous plots in the past year or so. I disagree about The Office, I think it can go another two to three years as long as Ed Helms stays with the series.

The only show I watch from CBS is "Mike and Molly". ABC "Modern Family" and "The Middle", on FOX "Raising Hope" (which is getting stupid and nearly unwatchable like "Earl" was). This TV season blows all the way around. None of it appeals to me whatsoever. I gave "Two Broke Girls" a shot, but turned it off after an episode (hate to do it since it has Garrett Morris).

That new show Grimm is really good! So maybe that will up the ratings.

I'm going to start getting impatient if the show doesn't get back to normal, like actually seeing them in the office and not seeing

kids or the family of certain characters.

Once CHUCK is over, and COMMUNITY is cancelled, I won't have anything left on NBC to watch, and I'm okay with that!

It has been years since my family has watched anything on NBC. They went downhill years ago, IMO.

NBC has been doing a lot of promotion for "Rock Center With Brian Williams" which premieres tonight at 10.

People seem to think that it's doomed for failure. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

Sure seems that way. It seems like it all started to go downhill when Friends ended in 2004.

NBC doesn't have high ratings hope for "Rock Center With Brian Williams":
