Anthony Michael Hall Arrested After Dispute - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Anthony Michael Hall- the brat pack actor who came back a bit more ripped and less geeky in the quirky 90′s hit Edward Scissorhands- was arrested in Los Angeles for disturbing the peace.

Hall- who has more recently appeared in the film The Dark Knight and on the show Community- was taken into custody early today after a dispute at his condo in Venice. Law enforcement sources confided to press that Hall’s neighbor heard a commotion from the hallway, and found Hall destroying plants in the common area. When asked to describe the ruckus, Hall’s neighbor said that he “came out of his unit and asked Hall what he was doing.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, Hall did not let the matter drop. The neighbor claims he left Hall to his devices, but Hall became belligerent:

Hall allegedly responded with an obscenity and threatened to “beat him to a pulp.” A short time later, Hall knocked on the man’s front door and when the neighbor opened the door, the actor told him to come outside to fight, the sources said. The man slammed the door and called the police.

The arrest was, as far as actor arrests go, not a major scandal- the paper says that Hall faces a misdemeanor charge that will be handled through the Los Angeles Attorney’s office. Up next for hall is the “comedy/sci-fi/thriller” Sexy Evil Genius, out in 2013. The film, currently in post-production, also stars Michelle Trachtenberg, Katee Sackhoff and Seth Green, and is directed by Shawn Piller.

He needs to move out of the condo and move into a place that has at least 12 feet of space between him and any neighbor.

Maybe he was pissed off that people said he was washed up and couldn't get arrested.
