A "Walking Dead" Talk Show?

Vulture has some rather interesting news today that there a reports of a possible "Walking Dead" talk-show like special coming up.

According to Vulture:

"Our spies say Nerdist blogger and former MTV personality Chris Hardwick, most recently seen hosting BBC America's 'Doctor Who' specials, served as the host of the pilot and that the discussion focused on 'Walking Dead'.

This would indicate that AMC is considering a launch of the as-yet untitled project in conjunction with this October's return of 'Dead', though we haven't been able to confirm that (and it's likely that it would be designed to air after other AMC shows, not just 'Dead').

What's more, because this was just a pilot, it's possible there could be format tweaks or that Hardwick might not be a part of the project should it go to series. If AMC decides to move forward with the show in time for 'Dead', it would likely do so within the next few weeks."

It's official: AMC has ordered a talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick to air after "The Walking Dead".

"Talking Dead", AMC's first live aftershow, will serve as a platform for discussion about "The Walking Dead". The half-hour series will premiere after the encore presentattions of the hourlong drama on Sunday, Oct. 16. Beginning on Friday, Nov. 4.

"Talking Dead" will air following the show's encores at 11 p.m.

"Talking Dead" will have Chris Hardwick, who hosts G4's "Web Soup", with fans, actors and producers and taking questions and comments from viewers.

Hardwick also moderated "The Walking Dead" panel at Comic-Con this year.

Michael Davies serves as executive producer of "Talking Dead" for Embassy Row.
Jen Kelly serves as co-executive producer.
