Shows which WERE NOT very popular on TV during their network run
But which became even more popular in syndication-To start off,NBC's original "Star Trek"is one example.ABC's mid-1960's series "The Addams Family"is another.Any more?Feel free to post.

The Brady Bunch took off in syndication after never cracking the Top 20 in the Nielsens between September 1969 and March 1974.

The original Star Trek is most likely the patron saint of this particular topic. In terms of a more recent example, Family Guy in its original 1999-2002 run.

WKRP In Cincinnati is a classic example. CBS moved the show at least seven times during its four year run, so nobody could find it. When int went into syndication, it took off, because people could find it.
Leave It To Beaver- it did well during its run, but over the years has become a giant in syndication. |

The Munsters only lasted two seasons and did well in syndication.

Bosom Buddies did much better in syndication the year after they cancelled it.

I think Nanny & the Professor qualifies. After its relatively short run, it became popular with viewers in lots of markets in syndication over several years.
