When did USA Network show My Sister Sam?

Does anybody know exactly when USA aired My Sister Sam, sometime in the early 90's? mornings or afternoons? what other shows were in the lineup with it?

They showed it on USA at 8:30 weekdays from 1990-1994 and briefly latenight in 1996.

Jeez, I can't tell you the exact time, I remember watching it at night though. I must have been only nine or ten when it was on, but I know it was kind of late-night. (after dinner)

I remember watching My Sister, Sam on USA and I believe it was during the early 90's. It really was a great show and Pam Dawber is one of my favorite actresses Ande early evening sounds about right. I think it also aired in the afternoons on weekends too. USA really needs to bring back some of the great sitcoms they used to air instead of airing the crappy sitcom rejects and constant movies.

Was it shown at 8:30 at night or 8:30 in the morning? Because according to a leftover TV Guide I have/had, it said it aired Saturday and Sundays from 6:00-7:00AM EST.

My Sister Sam aired in a block with My Two Dads, Just the ten of Us, and another show in the 80s that I dont remember. I think the time was around 9:00 or 10:00 am, USA must not have had much financing to buy comedies back then, since those shows only lasted 3 years or less.

Actually it BEGAN airing in 1989 on USA. I have a commercial where the "unaired episodes" would be aired on USA!! I do believe it was around Feb.-Mar. 1989, and it was aired on Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m. (The Sunday broadcast was a repeat of Saturday's show). It was often paired with "Double Trouble" or "It's Your Move." About a year later it aired on a daily basis, I believe at 4 p.m. (It replaced "Dance Party USA.") Then when USA had USAM comedies, yes, it was thrown in there, but by then I was not watching their line-up.

I remember when "MSS" was on the USA network...it was in the summer of 1989, the same summer when Rebecca Schaeffer was murdered. I remember this b/c I was watching it the morning I heard she'd been killed. It was so sad and freaky.

I found a transcript on the internet of a Larry King Live interview with Mark David Chapman. Here's a segment of the interview that is scary. He mentioned Bardo in the interview.

KING: Have any of them ever contacted you, Bardo or anybody?

CHAPMAN: First time I've ever said this, Larry. Robert Bardo wrote me three letters. I don't have them anymore. I tore them up. They were very deranged letters.

KING: After he killed her?

CHAPMAN: This was before, Larry.

KING: Before he killed her?

CHAPMAN: Yes, but he did not mention killing anyone, and he did not mention Rebecca Schaeffer by name.

KING: Did he leave a return address?

CHAPMAN: Yes, he did.

KING: Did you turn it over to authorities?

CHAPMAN: Yes, I did. Someone, a Christian worker here, had a Christian group contact him and send him some materials. He wrote me back and said, that's doing me no good. You see, we're free agent. We make those choices.

KING: OK, why didn't the authorities do something about him?

CHAPMAN: Well, again, he wasn't saying he was going to kill anyone. He was just asking me questions. What is it like to be in prison? But very, very deranged letters. And, Larry, I got frightened. I tore them up.

KING: OK.

CHAPMAN: When I was watching the news, that news came on, and I went, my god, that's the same fellow that wrote to me. I told someone about it because I couldn't contain it, then tore up the letters because I don't want any part of either being for or against this man for what he did. He will have to stand alone on that, but I did receive mail from him, yes.

When I first read this transcript I realized how deranged Bardo is. I mean, obviously anyone who stalks another person and kills them should be feared, but Bardo actually frightened Chapman.
