Scott Baio Defends Wife's Anti-Lesbian Facebook Rant

Once again, Scott Baio has found himself at the center of a Twitter controversy.

It all started last week when he tweeted, "Taxes are DONE...That should feed, house & provide medical for a few lazy non working people at my expense. Have a great Monday!"

Jezebel.com published this tweet without comment in their daily Tweet Beat, and Scott started getting testy, calling the Jezebel editors ignorant racists, hypocrites and worse. The next day he continued the fight by tweeting a picture of a bikini-clad girl riding a broomstick, as a definition for jezebel.

Then Scott's wife, Renee, came to his defense and things got really ugly. Renee unleashed a homophobic rant on her Facebook page, calling the Jezebel staff "lesbian ****asses."

Renee updated her Facebook page justifying her hate speech by the existence of lesbian friends. Renee also has a black friend, and a few months ago Scott repeatedly pointed to this woman, tweeting pictures of her, to prove a distasteful Michelle Obama joke was not racist.

Renee got plenty of criticism for this, so Scott was determined to have the last word, which was "waa":

The first thing I did was check the biographical information on Internet Movie Database hoping to God this couple had no children and was dismayed to learn they have a two-and-a-half-year-old. Since Scott started work at the age of NINE, it won't be long until this child becomes a "lazy non-working person" fed, clothed, and housed at his expense. Brooke Shields, who started working much younger, often remarks she has "slacker kids," but at least she is joking. I think.

Scott just buried himself in a hole for whatever promise career he was hoping for is gone for good. As for his wife....I hope someone used soap. And later the foundation would be in ruins because of their political agendas....possibly taking a nosedive. Hugh Hefner would not be calling them over for parties, that's for sure.

In regards to Scott Baio himself, it proves that just because an actor plays a decent person on screen does not mean they are as decent.

Scott Baio is really crossing into Kirk Cameron like territory with how obnoxious he has become by his "second career" as a smug, mean-spirited, ultra right-wing commentator. He's rather callous comments about the death of his old Happy Days co-star Erin Moran just makes things worse.

Who do you think you are? Only a despicable person such as you makes fun of someone elses child, who is now 13 by the way. You have no idea how Scott and his wife Renee raise their daughter. Bad enough you going after Scott and Renee they are at least our adults and can take it better. But to go after a defenseless child. That is the lowest of the low dude,. Go back to your moms basement and be quiet.
