Angry SAG not Happy with January Jones

Silly, silly January Jones. SAG awards sources tell me the 'Mad Men' actress who plays Don Draper's wife skipped flying into Los Angeles last weekend to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards because she "wasn't feeling well." So you can imagine what SAG voters thought when pictures emerged of Jones out with rumored boyfriend Jeremy Piven the same evening as the awards.

"She blew it big time," a TV insider tells me. "'Mad Men' won for Best Ensemble Cast and she would rather spend the evening flirting with Jeremy Piven!"

Give the girl a second chance, SAG. Maybe she was too sick to travel, and Mr. Piven just took her out for some chicken soup? Hopefully love cures everything.

Sounds like she was channeling her character, Betty Draper, although I wouldn't mind seeing Jeremy Piven on an episode of Mad Men! Glad to hear that her show won!

I've heard of women named April, May, June and even December, but not January. Until now, anyway.

It's definitely unique! Hmmm.. any bets on whether or not her birthday is this month?

I'm glad my parents didn't name their children the way hers did. My name would be November!

Mine would be September, but actually I think that's a pretty cool name. My favorite month as well! My best friend in high school's middle name was April and her birthday was in October. Guess her mom just liked the name!

Also in the movie (and book) The Secret Life of Bees, the sisters are named April, May and June!

January was never that good of an actress. She was perfect for the role of Betty because Betty was aloof, frozen and emotionally immature. January has no range. Also, she has a nasty attitude and was really feeling herself when the show became a hit. She got wrapped up in the Hollywood game.
