Default 15 of the Greatest Moments In TGIF History

http://www.moviefill.com/15-of-the-G...History-19329/

Quote:
Remember back in the day when Friday nights would roll around and you would monopolize the TV for two hours of TGIF fun, not moving until 20/20 came on? Those were simpler times when you were still too young to go terrorizing the neighborhood or try to buy a six-pack with a fake i.d. Back then, D.J. was the hottest girl you knew and there was nothing creepy about three grown men living in a house together raising three young girls. Well, if any of this sounds familiar, and you have a taste for nostalgia, come with us on a trip down memory lane as we reminisce about the 15 Greatest Moments in TGIF history.

I miss TGIF. ABC had a great thing going with that slogan, along with some great shows. Thanks for the memories!

What was up with that weird Full House intro? They definitely never planned on using that. How evil is it to show the golden gate bridge just collapsing like that lol

I loved TGIF as a kid. My favorite of the shows was Perfect Strangers, a show I still love today and has probably held up the best of the bunch. I still remember those Friday nights when my folks would order pizza, we kids would get our sleeping bags and camp out in the living room and watch those shows. Those were the days!!

One of the original TGIF's was when The Brady Bunch and the Partridge Family came on back to back on ABC.

Didn't Mr. Belvedere also air on Friday nights with those shows?

I don't think I discovered Mr. Belverde until 1987 because my classmates was teasing me about my peacoat and calling me "mr. belverde" and I didn't know what the hell they were talking about until I came home and saw the sho-lol

I remember watching 'Webster' and 'Benson' on Friday nights. I never knew that there were 2 extra seasons of 'Webster' after ABC cancelled it, that were shown in first-run syndication. I also liked Mr. Belvedere (I still haven't bought the DVD's), I do have Full House on DVD (my cousins also like watching the show when I babysit them). I didn't like Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, or Step By Step that much.

my favorite TGIF moment wasn't listed: "Just The Ten Of Us". that was a great show. boo hoo to ABC for cancelling it to make TGIF all Miller-Boyette shows.

I loved Just the Ten of Us!! I'd love to see that one see the light of day on DVD someday (not that I'm holding my breath, ). So many of the cast members have just vanished, with the notable exception of Jamie Luner (who now stars on All My Children). I remember Heather Langenkamp in her horror movies, and I remember she played Nancy Kerrigan in a TV movie in the mid-90s. I'd especially love to know whatever happened to Bill Kirchenbauer - I loved that guy!!

I want to know whatever happend to Brooke Thiess! she was the sexpot of the 80's and early 1990's and had supporting roles on "90210" and a slew of other shows in the early 90's then she just dissappeared, poof, vanished!

I do know she is married to Bryan Genesse, an actor who recently reprised his Bold & Beautiful role from the 80s. They have young kids, so I guess she put acting aside to be a full-time wife/mom. Just my theory.

I found Bill Kirchenbauer's website!! I always liked him - he looked/looks a lot like my own dad, except that Mr. Kirchenbauer was/is considerably larger (sorry). I always enjoyed watching him yelling at the kids on TV, always barking to "get your butts down here!"
