Default 7 Celebrities and the Awful Stuff You Forgot They Did

I'm not sure that I want to post the Cracked article because the actual name of this article contains more salty words than what I used in the title headline. Anyway:
7. Dr. Dre Kicked the Stuffing Out of a Woman

6. Tim Allen Dealt Mess Loads of Cocaine, Ratted Out All His Colleagues

5. Elvis Costello Called James Brown and Ray Charles The N Word

4. Johnny Cash Wiped Out an Entire Species (Almost)

3. Marvin Harrison is Terrifying

2. Chuck Berry: Amateur Voyeur

1. Rick James: Music, Crack Pipe Torture Innovator

I'll add Matthew Broderick to the list, who if I'm not mistaken, actually contributed to the deaths of two people in an automobile accident in Ireland. Clark Gable also allegedly killed somebody while driving (although this story is apparently, an urban legend).

Kobe Bryant is another name that instantly popped in my head. After winning the NBA's MVP award and leading the Lakers to a World Championship, it's pretty easy to forget that the guy was about six years ago, accused of rape and admitted to have cheated on his wife (with said accuser).

How about Jon Landis & Steven Spielberg (inadvertantly) causing the death of Vic Morrow and 2 children during the making of Twilight Zone: The Movie.

And didn't Brandy kill a woman in a car accident?

He was also pretty banged up in that accident and was in the hospital for a long time recovering. His fiancee at the time, Jennifer Grey, was in the passenger seat. When he woke up he - rather conveniently - had no memory of the accident.

Here is more:

Buddy Holly deciding to charter a plane to get some laundry done

Sam Cooke taking a woman (who may have been a prostitute) to a fleabag hotel for a sexual reandevous (or however you spell it)

Berry Gordy getting involved with Diana Ross (he got so wrapped up in her he decided to move his company to Hollywood to make her a star, and hence lost sight of the great music he was doing in Detroit).

Dennis Wilson picking up a couple of hitchhikers in the summer of 1968.

Elvis Presley signing on with Tom Parker

The Rolling Stones taking the advice of the Grateful Dead and hiring Hells Angels to do security for them.

Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle

He was accused of raping Virginia Rappe. This ruined Arbuckle's career and he never recovered from the scandal and died at a young age of 46 in the year 1933.

Who was that actress who killed a little boy in a crosswalk while talking on a cellphone? She got off with a slap on the wrist, didn't she?

Director John Singleton was also involved in an car accident in which he hit a man that died. I really don't try to judge John Singleton, Rebecca Gayheart, Brandy or Matthew Broderick for the accidents they were responsible for because a friend of my parents accidentally hit an elderely man sweeping a road during a snowstorm. My parents' friend hit a patch of ice while driving and he hit the man. He was disturbed for a long time. The man's family tried to sue him but there case was thrown mainly due to road conditions and the fact that the man was trying to sweep snow off a road. In those types of situations the driver suffers too.

Yes they did, they even played a song he wrote. At the time though, they had no idea he was crazy enough to kill people.

I didn't know this until fairly recently, but Vic Morrow is Jennifer Jason Leigh's dad.
