I would take out ALL of the referees lol. They have ruined the NHL, and even the NBA.

1. Get rid of all the multimillion dollar players that just either sit around or don't do their jobs the way they're paid to do. Let them EARN that plateau after being in the league about 6-7 years and they've been on the all-star team at least 5 times.

2. Give hockey back to the players - let them fight, smash each other and beat the crap out of each other!!! That's why people like hockey in the first place, right?

3. Same thing as (2), but also with football. I can't understand why they're wimping out that sport, anyways. If you're not man enough to get slammed to the turf by a 350-lb. lineman and have at lease one bone broken in your career, DON'T PLAY and get a real job!!! And let the other team celebrate in the end zone - to me, most guys that play football should not be offended when the other team taunts them - otherwise, DON'T PLAY and get a real job!!!

4. All-star teams are NOT to be picked by the fans. They should be picked by the people who actually know they've got special skills (writers, coaches, etc.) Otherwise, it's just a B.S. popularity contest with the same mediocre players (and a few actually good ones) on the same teams year after year.
