Question Which sitcoms got the axe the quickest?

What is the shortest-lived sitcom that you remember? (The one with the fewest episodes!)

"Normal Ohio" with John Goodman. I think the sitcom that would go down in the books would be "The Trouble with Larry" with Bronson Pinchot. It got such a negative reaction in 1993. Another is "Tall Hopes" with Anna Maria Horsford.

The first one that comes to mind is the CBS sitcom Public Morals which came from the same producers as NYPD Blue. The show grew some heat over what was made out of in the content as it ultimately got canceled after only one episode.

Checking In, which was a Jeffersons spinoff staring Marla Gibbs only lasted four episodes.

The Mike O'Malley show...one week! One episode aired!

There's always Rewind with Scott Baio from FOX.. It never aired though but got the ax before even going on the air!

The Martin Short Show in 1994 with Jan Hooks playing his wife. I thought it was funny but it got cancelled after 3 episodes. The following year Martin Short and Jan Hooks put together an hour and a half pilot as their previous characters doing a Saturday Night Live type of variety show. I thought it was a parody of SNL and now I'm not sure.

Did Scott Valentine star in that? I remember being a kid and watching this series once that Nick from Family Ties starred in. I've never been able to find any information about the show.

The Art of Being Nick was just an unsold pilot and not part of the regular schedule, it got huge ratings - it was like #3 in the ratings for the week that it aired as it was right after The Cosby Show. There was an earlier attempt at a spinoff that aired that had Nick working at a toy shop.
