Mr. Collins was featured in three episodes that I can recall. He died, of course, in the third one.

Later,

Thumbs up

That was the best episode ever. Of course it very deservedly won a grammy award. I think dealing with Mr. Collins death, was the first real adult thing, that happened to Kevin. Brillant writing!

Actually Mr Collins had been sick for some time as evidenced by the fact that in the car scene when Kev approaches him Mr Collins "seemed to be in a hurry. I have an appointment."

Also Diperna said at the end "Kev something strange has happened. Your test results got misplaced you need a grade. Can you think of anything to do about it?

Kev said: No sir.

Diperna: Well Mr. Collins did.

(He holds up a test with Kevin Arnold's name on it)

This implies that Mr. Collins was not in duress that weekend he passed on. Amen.
