Post If Saved By the Bell Was a Big Screen Movie Who Would Play Who?

I first noticed this game of sorts a few months from the Facts of Life fourm/Wizard Magazine in which a new cast is selected for a project which in all likelyhood won't happen in a million years. But then again, if Car 54 Where Are You?, Charlie's Angels, and My Favorite Martin can be made into big time movies then anything is possible. Please note that the guidelines include that you can't go the easy way out by naming original cast members (then again, I'm sure that Dustin Diamond wouldn't mind degrading himself even further than on the New Class), or even worse yourself!

I think if Saved by the Bell were a movie
Here is who would play who:
Zach- Kyle Lowder (Days of Our Lives)
Slater- Hardy Hill (Big Brother 2)
Screech-Ben Foster (with dyed brown hair)
Jessie- Jessica Beil (with dyed red hair)
Lisa- Raven Seymone (Cosby show)
Kelly-Katie Holmes (Dawson 's Creek)
Mr. Belding- Dennis F?(NYPD Blue) no mustache
Who knows it could happen. If not at least I tried.

I've thought about this, and I don't think anyone can really replace the original characters. For example, Zack and Kelly had such good chemistry. And, the fact that SBTB The New Class was such a failure illistrates this. If there was another SBTB movie, I think it should include the original characters and where they would be today. It would be nice to see where Zack and Kelly are, maybe with a family now. What do you guys think?

Lisa: Halle Barry

Jessie: a younger Meg Ryan (her character in "When Harry Met Sally" kind of reminds me of Jessie)

Screech: He'd have to play himself, no one could ever be another Screech!

Kelly: Tori Spelling (if she became a brunette)

Slater: A younger Dean Cain (Lois and Clark)

Zack: Colby from Survivor (although I love the idea about Kyle Lowder from DAYS!)

Mr. Belding: the guy who played the principal in "Ferris Bueller"

I believe you're referring to Ben Stein? No, I don't think he would make a good Mr. Belding, because Ben Stein's trademark is his monotone voice. This would not be a good Belding trait.

Ben Stein was in "Ferris", but he played one of the teachers. You are right, TMC, Jeffrey Jones was the one.

Well Ben Stein I could see him playing one of the teachers Mr. Dewey. The character was in the first season episodes. He was very deedpan, wore glasses, made Scretch a hall monitor, Said this memorible line "You can tell us the name of your turtle latter." You know who I am talking about?
