Clare Carey: She very pretty, but the Kelly Fox character on "Coach" was very disappointing and very few people knows who she is.

Jami Gertz

Even though she is semipopular she never reached the level of fame that many of her peers did like Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy.

Nancy Valen

Quote:
Nancy Valen is one of my favorite starlets ever (BILTFH). Unfortunately, her career never got any traction. After a couple of bit parts in movies and TV (she's one of the cuties in Porky's 3), she got the cover of TV Guide as one of the stars of an ill-fated attempt at a TV musical drama series called Hull High. Like Steven Bochco's similar show Cop Rock, it failed after only a few episodes. After that, she went back to occasional guest-starring roles on TV and appearing in small B-movie roles. Oddly enough, at least twice she seemed poised to get a long-term role which suddenly evaporated. The first occurred on the late-night series Silk Stalkings. After appearing as an IRS auditor in season 3, she returned in season 4 to play the role of Dr. Jillian Michaels, who became the love interest of Detective Chris Lorenzo (Rob Estes) one of the show's two main characters. But the storyline was never continued. Two years later, she got her gig on Baywatch as the new lieutenant, Samantha 'Sam' Thomas, who was brought in to replace the long-running character played by Alexandra Paul. That season ended with Sam in bed with none other than David Hasslehoff himself with the two of them discussing how to break the news of their relationship to Hobie. So everything seemed set for her to return the next year with an expanded role as Mitch Buchanan's girlfriend and partner in command. However . . .

As I was saying, season 7 of Baywatch ended with Samantha and Mitch about to tell the world of their new relationship and Nancy seemingly set for an increased role. Alas, that didn't happen. Baywatch instead returned with even more former Playboy Playmates, including Carmen Elektra and Angelica Bridges as the newer lieutenant, and Nancy Valen's character Samantha had disappeared with no explanation. Needless to say, I never watched that ****ing piece of **** show again.

The next time I saw Nancy, she was on an infomercial promoting an anthropomorphic punching bag called 'Slam Man.'

I always thought Meredith Salenger was a gorgeous woman, but her career never took off.

Also, there was an actress back in the 60's named Lyn Loring who I think was incredibly cute, but she never got past a few guest star spots on 60's tv shows.

And Michele Carey, from John Wayne's "El Dorado" was one very sexy young woman, but her career consisted of about half a dozen films.

How about Patricia Harty, the star of "Occasional Wife"?

She was also in a short lived TV version of Blondie, but never found the right vehicle.
