Yes! I do! It was on the WB, I think, several years ago and was created and starred Carol Liefer, one of the writers for "Seinfeld," which is why, to me, it had a "Seinfeld" flavor to it. I thought it was pretty good, but it didn't last too long.

the only thing I remember is that Jennifer Grey (from Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller's Day Off) played herself on the show.

I was wrong! I got two Seinfeld wannabes confused. And I stand corrected. It was definitely on ABC and I remember that Jennifer Grey played herself. It was created by someone involved with Senfeld and took place in Los Angeles. The show by Carol Liefer was called "Alright Already" and was also Seinfeld-like. Sorry.

No. It was on ABC. I believe it starred an ensemble cast that included Jennifer Grey, Evan Handler, AJ Langer and Steve Eckholdt? It debuted right around the time that ABC was going crazy with "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and it was not properly promoted at all, so ratings were low, very low. But I really enjoyed it. I remember Jennifer Grey in particular was funny. Carol Liefer was NOT in this show. Her show on the WB was called "Alright, Already". |
