Default I Met Joanie, "Potsie" & Ralph today!!!!!

Hi all,
Erin Moran, Anson Williams & Donny Most are guests at the "Chiller Theatre" Convention this weekend in the New Jersey Meadowlands. I was there today (Saturday April 30th). They are three of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet -- epecially Erin, who was astonishingly sweet. Anson and Donny made me feel like I was Richie or something . . . just hanging out with Potsie and Ralph.

Charlene Tilton, who played "Jill Higgins", Joanie's cheerleadling captain (who cut her from the squad) and dance marathon competitor, in a Season Four episode was also there. Another sweetie!

Classicshowsgurl15 ,
You wish you lived in N.J.? That's gotta be the first time I've read that on one of these boards. There were quite a few pretty cool people at this thing besides the three from "Happy Days."

But, living in California, you are probably the envy of a lot more people than I am, not to mention probably have more opportunities to meet celebrities.

ponytail,
Yes, my sister, who was with me, had a digital camera with her. Erin, Anson & Donny posed for some pictures with me. I also bought some nice 8 X 10s from all of them which they signed . . . for my cousin who's also a big "Happy Days" fan, but wasn't there with us. (They charged $20 an autugraph.)

By the way, all of the above goes for Charlene Tilton, as well.

I worked that show with Tonya Harding. Got to meet all three and all three were very nice. But for whatever reason Anson and Don were sitting seperate from Erin.

It was in a tent and the tent was flooding and the smell was getting pretty bad in there.

BTW Charlene Tilton also appeared on Laverne and Shirley. But well into her Dallas Fame.

GeorgeWBushGOP,
I liked the tent idea. I had been to only one of these expos prior to this weekend. It was the one in April of 2003. The guests were spread out into groups in separate rooms and different floors of the hotel. I found it so much easier and more convenient having everybody all in the same place. I know the ground was wet, but I didn't know it "flooding." I don't remember the place smelling bad either, at all. I did think it was odd, though, that Erin wasn't set up closer to Anson and Don.

For some reason, Tonya was the one scheduled guest I never saw. Who was she near?

I know, I am glad that I live in california. It's just I have never met a celebrity and want to very much. My family and I are going to Disneyland in August and we are going to go to Hollywood! So I hope that I get to meet one there.

No loss there I think!! Last time I saw her, she looks REALLY scary now! Like she herself could hobble somebody - no longer needs thugs to do it for her!

You went on Saturday when it was raining. By Sunday that place stunk and they had the water vacs out.

The hotel is too confusing and full of just bootleggers selling illegal dvds and the like. with some artists.

You saw where Erin was right?. Well across was Laraine Newman and behind her was Tonya Harding. and she was opposite Lou Ferrigno. She was a pretty big success. As most of them except the real obscure actors like the "Flesh Eater" from Night of the living dead". We are going to use her again for similar shows.

I know that celebrities charge for their autograph at conventions, because that's why they are there...however, I once read a story of a fan running into Tonya and asking for her autograph, and Tonya had the nerve to ask for $25!

Anyways, Donny Most is also going to be at a convention I'm attending on the 14th of this month, so hopefully I'll get a chance to meet him, too.

GeorgeWBushGOP ,
That's funny -- I met and posed for pictures with all three of those people (Erin Moran, Laraine Newman and Lou Ferrigno) and never saw Tonya. Maybe she was on a lunch or bathroom break when I was in the area.
