I agree. I didn't like either cast change. Emma Samms was only slightly okay because I was familiar with her from General Hospital (back when I used to watch it). But I didn't like Jack Coleman replacing Al Corley at all.

Emma Samms was great on GH, but when she took over as Fallon I was like "when did Fallon become British?"

I know, Fallon went from being Denver-born to the Dutchess of York and Steven has plastic surgery and ends up looking like a completely different human being.

Al Corley and Pamela Sue Martin.

I thought Jack Coleman was a very good replacement (the only one on Dynasty I ever liked), but Emma Samms? She was just awful. She did improve a lot in the last season, but I hated her before that. Pamela Sue Martin was so spellbinding as Fallon; they shouldn't have bothered replacing her.

Jack Coleman had to reshoot Al Corley's last scene. They didn't bother choreographing the reshoot the same as the original, but they did use the same dialogue (albeit edited) and they made sure the actors were wearing the same clothes.
