Default Isaiah Washington

Isaiah Washington is the only black guy on Grey's Anatomy if i'm not mistaken. I don't watch the show but when i saw the commercial for the show & i saw him, i said i'm happy for him that he's on a tv show cause he's never been on a tv show before. He's a very good actor & i've always liked him. He's a underrated actor & he never gets the credit. He's played in a lot of movies such as Clockers, Get On The Bus, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Bulworth, Out Of Sight, Wild Things 2, Trois 3, Strapped, Always Outnumbered Always Outgunned, Hood Rat.

He's not the only black person on the show, The woman that's the head of the residents, and the chief surgeon are both black.

The black chief surgeon you're talkin about, his name is James Pickens. I just found out his name on imdb.com. I didn't know he was from my hometown Cleveland, Ohio. He was Isaiah Washington's dad in Dead Presidents movie.

James also played in movies Menace II Society & Gridlock'd. Samuel Jackson killed him in Menace II Society because James owed Samuel some money & James refused to pay him. Gridlock'd movie starrs 2Pac, Tim Roth, Thandie Newton. James character in that movie was a supervisor at a unemployment office i believe. I remember 2Pac got smart with him about somethin. He also played in Ghosts Of Mississippi movie as Whoopi Goldberg's husband. He played in Bulworth movie with Warren Beatty & Halle Berry. Isaiah Washington was also in that. James played in How Stella Got Her Groove Back movie with Angela Bassett. I think he was Suzanne Douglas's husband in that movie.

Thanks, but I haven't seen any of those movies. I'm thinkin' he was from a sitcom.

Isaiah probably would have kept his job if he didn't mess it all up it up by saying at the Golden Globes "No, I did not call T.R. (Knight) a [homosexual slur that begins with the letter f]!" when the cast and Shonda Rhimes were at the podium. Shonda just stood there and smiled and looked like a deer caught in headlights. Isaiah was either looking to revisit the matter, start a fight or was trying to defend himself but whatever the case, even just uttering the f-word at the Golden Globes was a stupid movie. It was embarrassing for the cast, T.R. specifically, and Isaiah embarrassed himself. The show had no choice but to fire him.

It looked like they were trying to contain the behind-the-scenes drama but Isaiah chose to put it out there.
