If it makes you feel any better, the show was eventually cancelled over here...

This show is not that bad. I found some parts to be very funny.

If you don't like it, then why come to this board? I don't think us Wings fans would like it if someone came to the Wings board and posted things like this would we?

It's simple, don't watch it if you don't like it

It was a great show. Its to bad it didn't last. Thats the fate of most sitcoms nowadays unfortunately.

It could have been a great show if ABC didn't let it go against "American Idol," where it had its clock cleaned. Patrick was the rarest of birds - a completely likeable male sitcom character. Well, if you want to watch a lielable guy on ABC, you can always watch Ted Koppel, at least until his contract expires in a few months.

I agree this was a good show - If ABC didn't have their hand on it. ABC has a tendancy to toss good shows before their due because they can't figure out how to properly adjust their line up for optimal ratings against the other stations.

Was there any plans for syndication???? How long did it last????

Syndication?? Don't make me There were only twenty episodes or so. If you showed one every weekday, you'd run out in a month! Even USA doesn't show sitcoms with one-season lifespans anymore.

Short-Lived Sitcom Potpourri (V)

Quote:
The writing is predictably sweet, but the seriesstorytelling does a surprisingly solid job of using the contrasting characterizations, and their worlds, to create conflict. Although the Hollywood shows feel more gimmicky and familiar (we’ve seen dozens of these spoofs before), the series balances his/her dramas pretty well. The problem? Despite likable characters in okay stories, no episode is ever hilarious or stands out as memorable.
