Question Ann Morgan Guilbert

Does anyone know where I can find info on Ann Morgan Guilbert? Such as number and ages of children, where living now, marital status, etc.? DVD's assistant was Frank Adamo, right???

You could try IMDB.com but I'm not sure how much information you could get there. And yes , DVD's assistant's name is Frank Adamo. He was in the Inside TVLand DVD special.

I think Ann's a widow. Her last husband was a very funny actor named Guy Raymond. He's the one who showed the cabin where Rob went to write his novel. I always thought he shoulda had a supporting role on a hit comedy. But I don't think he ever did. A funny guy.

There is some information on her in The Official Dick Van Dyke Show Book by Vince Waldron. I know that the daughter she was carrying when she was pregnant during the first season later went into show business. There is other info on her in the book.

LoL! Yes, she was. I remember when I first saw her, I didn't even recognize her. There are a lot of references made by her about the Dick Van Dyke Show.

They're talking about "The Nanny" with Fran Drescher (Sp?). Ann Morgan Guilbert used to be on there playing Fran's mother or something.

Hi folks,
For a while there, Ann Morgan Guilbert seemed to pop up all over the place. Besides being the Nanny's grandmother, she was "Evelyn," a friend of Jerry's parents' in their Florida retirement community on "Seinfeld." She was -- in at least one episode -- Wilson's mother on "Home Improvement.".

And, I can't remember the name of Sophia Loren's character in the movie "Grumpier Old Men." Whatever it was, Ann M. Guilbert played her mother.

Her character's name was Maria. That movie made me realize how talented this woman really is.

I'm not a fan of The Nanny but my friend is, and she showed me an episode of it with a big DVD show reference! I don't know what the episode is called, but it's when Fran gets a job on the Rosie O'Donnell show. At one point they start talking about the DVD show and Ann says something like: 'look, there's richie,' and then looks in a mirror and says 'and there's millie!'. And at the end of the episode they do a spoof of the Dick Van Dyke Show, in black and white, with Fran as Laura and the dad as Rob: very funny!
