Talking Am I Annoying: Knight Rider

http://www.amiannoying.com/(onn1dcj2plyqfzegcskted45)/view.aspx?id=8707&collection=205

Why they might be annoying
Glen A. Larson got the idea for the series while working on 'The Six Million Dollar Man,' contemplating 'Knight Rider' as the bionic car.
After the second season, most of the story lines where repeats.
In the fourth season, RC3 was a character made up to boost ratings and Super Pursuit Mode was overused.
The Made-for-TV movies following the series were mediocre at best.
'Team Knight Rider' was a subpar spin-off of the series.
Most people do not know that 'Dalton: Code of Vengeance' was actually a spin-off of the Knight Rider two-part episode 'Mouth of the Snake.'

Why they might not be annoying
David Hasslehoff went on to star in 'Baywatch' and William Daniels went on to star in 'Boy Meet World.'
The 'Knight Rider' theme song is quite popular, sampled by artists such as Busta Rhymes and Timbaland.
K.I.T.T.'s enemies included a super strong tractor trailer, Goliath and K.A.R.R., the original prototype of the super car.
The Knight Nationals gives prizes to the best replica of the 'Knight Rider' Trans Am yearly.
Many web sites and webrings are dedicated to the series.
The show inspired funding for technicians to innovate such modern automotive features as in-car navigation and DVD players.

I never understood the RC3 addition. I don't know if the intent was for him to be a Jr. Knight Rider type character, but they never used him much. In fact he seemed to get in the way.
