Just when you thought there was nothing to watch on television Monk returns June 18th. Just wanted to remind everybody. Do you think Dale the Whale gave Monk the right info about Trudy???? Can't wait!

I've been counting the weeks! (Well, not really, but I am looking forward to Mr. Monk's return.)
As for Dale the Whale, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. I'm just wondering if he'll be back for the new season (and who will be playing him this time). He's a wonderful villain, but I hate to see Monk being put through the wringer by him.Perhaps this season Monk will find a way to get past his grief over Trudy's death, and maybe even notice Sharona a little more.

What could be better than a new Monk season and episode? How about a Monk marathon on Friday!

), I never know in advance when there's something different in the daytime schedule. I checked USA's online guide and it lists Monk from 7:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m EDT Friday (4:00-4:00 where I am). Some of my favorite episodes will be on. I might not be completely awake for all of it, but I'll definitely be watching.

If you get "Good Day L.A." in your area, they will be on the set of Monk tomorrow morning.

Jrnygrl,
On one hand, it's unlikely that "Dale the Whale" is suddenly an honorable guy and telling the truth. There is also every possibility that he's just sending the man who put him in jail on a "wild goose chase." He's got nothing to lose -- he's already behind bars. But, it would seem Dale's got nothing to gain by screwing Monk in this instance . . . apart from a few laughs. Meanwhile, he could be playing for a big favor from Monk further down the road. Meanwhile, you know there has to be a lot more to this story than what we now know -- for instance, maybe a history between Dale and this Tennyson guy in New York . . . if he does exist, that is. Perhaps, something Dale may wish to get even with *him* for . . . . (whether or not he had anything to do with Trudy's death). Whatever, I'm sure it'll be a brilliant, tricky and clever story. And, I'm glad USA has scheduled "Mr. Monk Goes To The Circus" to be a part of the Friday June 18th marathon (1:00 p.m. Eastern time), seeing as how they screwed us out of this past Monday night's scheduled showing of that episode. Later, Art |

I've been watching the marathon (including one of my favorite episodes, Mr. Monk Goes to the Theater) and I was glad to finally get to see the end of Mr. Monk and the Very, Very Old Man. I'd seen it during a previous Monk-a-thon many months ago, and I couldn't remember why he insisted on leaving the coffee table askew. I kept thinking it must have been like that on the day Trudy was killed, or something equally morbid, and I missed the epilogue the last time around. Now I know. I like the real reason much better than anything I was thinking. Very sweet.

Yes, one of the most touching moments of the series thus far. Later, Art |

Fortunately, several of the preliminary reviews of tonight's season premiere have been pretty negative. I say "fortunately" because bad reviews of something are quite often an indication that it's something I'll really enjoy. Later, Art |
