Angry What Happened To Supermarket Sweep?

I loved that show now the weakest link comes on. It was the only reason that looked at Pax. Does anybody know what happened?

Al Howard had a disput with PAX concerning SS. The reason why it left is because those dumbasses at PAX don't want quality game shows on their low rated network as far as I am concerned.

I saw the TV schedule from the Daily News that "Supermarket Sweep" will replace with "The Weakest Link" at 6:00 PM with George Grey (not Anne Robinson). I miss "Supermarket Sweep" with announcer Randy West, the one that I'm watching "The Price Is Right".

I hope that GSN (The Network for Games) will bring "Supermarket Sweep" someday.

I wouldn't count on it. They're now too concerned with reality crap and shows revolving around some of the STUPIDEST games.

Basically it is just an informercial wasteland. I wish my cable system would trade it for something else.

Default Fake meat, confiscated sweatshirts, and other sordid secrets from Supermarket Sweep

http://www.avclub.com/article/fake-m...-sordid-228668

Quote:
A little over a year ago, The A.V. Club ran a piece where we talked to Mike Futia, a onetime contestant on Supermarket Sweep. In between revelations about fake hams and turtleneck dickeys, we learned just what it was like to be on the show, commercialism and all. That’s something a new video from Great Big Story dives even further into. The clip catches up with the show’s onetime host, David Ruprecht, who’s just as charming and capable of affably jogging as ever. Though nothing Ruprecht says is that surprising to anyone who’s television-savvy, he does weigh in with his preferred strategy for Sweep victory, which—we have to say—is pretty darn smart.

I also was and still am a Supermarket Sweep fan and Mom and I used to watch it on PAX sometimes and it's a shame that PAX couldn't have anymore episodes of Supermarket Sweep because it was such a fun show and very exciting to watch. Hopefully Al Howard Productions will sell the reruns of Supermarket Sweep to GSN very soon because Supermarket Sweep would make a great fit for the GSN lineup

I emailed Pax, Bestie, and told them what a stupid decision it was to drop SMS. Hope it helps. But Networks are sooo stupid, who knows.
