Question Favorite show from this season?

Since I am having Monk withdrawls, I was wondering what was everyone's favorite show from the past season. No particular order was choosen. If I forgot one please let me know.

My favorite was "Mr. Monk Gets Married." Some really funny moments.

Tough call. 'Mr. Monk Goes To Jail" was really funny, not to mention it left us with a great cliffhanger, but I also loved "Captain's Wife." Monk and Stottlemeyer had some great moments in that episode.

Jrnygrl,
You mentioned only the shows from the *second half* of Season Two. Are you talking about only those, or did you mean this to be for the whole season?

The entire season went as follows:

"Mr. Monk Goes To School"
"Mr. Monk Goes To Mexico"
"Mr. Monk Goes To The Ballgame"
"Mr. Monk Goes To The Circus"
"Mr. Monk And The Very, Very Old Man"
"Mr. Monk Goes To The Theater"
"Mr. Monk And The Sleeping Suspect"
"Mr. Monk Meets The Playboy"
"Mr. Monk And The 12th Man"

(several months' break)

"Mr. Monk And The Paperboy"
"Mr. Monk And The Three Pies"
"Mr. Monk And The TV Star"
"Mr. Monk And The Missing Granny"
"Mr. Monk And The Captain's Wife"
"Mr. Monk Gets Married"
"Mr. Monk Goes To Jail"

If you're asking only about that second part of the season, I'd pick "Three Pies", with "Captain's Wife" and "Jail" tied for 2nd place. However, if you want to consider the *entire* Season Two, I'd have to put "Very, Very Old Man", "Circus" and "Sleeping Suspect" in the running as well. I think "Three Pies" still wins, though.

Jrnygrl,
Oh. But, my answer is the same either way -- "Mr. Monk And The Three Pies."

I would also like to add that I like different episodes for different reasons. I liked "Mr. Monk And The Three Pies" for the mystery, but even more for all the stuff about Monk's brother . . . especially the very emotional scenes near the end of the show.

I loved the mystery in "Mr. Monk Goes To Jail" -- a mystery inside a mystery, actually. There were also some funny moments in that one. Comedy-wise, my favorite of the second half of Season Two, though, was probably "Mr. Monk Gets Married." I thought Monk and Sharona, especially Monk, were pretty funny in that show.

But, my favorite over all, from a comedy standpoint, was "Mr. Monk Goes To The Circus." The interaction between Monk and Sharona, following his telling her to "suck it up" -- not to mention the antics of Floppy the Clown -- made that a very enjoyable episode for me. The plot (the mystery) of that one wasn't bad, either.
