The most beloved hero in Power Rangers history was introduced as a weapon. Before the White light, before thirty years of legend, Tommy Oliver was a brainwashed teenager who nearly killed five other teenagers — and here's the uncomfortable bit nobody says out loud: as a villain, he was better at the job than anyone who came after him. So today we replay the most famous five episodes in franchise history from inside the helmet. Green with Evil, through Tommy's eyes. It's darker in there than you remember.
