I came across a man who was in jail with Randall on another bored. He posted he thought Randall was acting strange in prison. He posted, the day Randall escaped he had hurt his anckle in shower and a guard took him to the hospital and after Randall was looked at and leaveing he over powered the guard and ran. Strange because he said the guard was bigger than him. The guard ended up leaveing the job and Randalls sell amte got out short time after Randal escaped. The england story came from jail. He said Randal talked to him getting out and guing to england. I do not think anyone knows if he went or not. Does not sound like anyone know were he us. Unless his parents are helping him and sister does not know about it. I'm amazed at all the people coming out on Randall and non one on Denise. It looks like the cae has caused a lot of people who knew them. Do hope it gets solved one of these days.

If people are implying Randall was "disappeared" by LE... wouldn't his family have already alleged that if there was any reasonable way for them to think it was true? The fact that THEY have not suggests to me they KNOW that is not the case...

First, the fact base. His parents did not appear on camera in the UM segment. However in the closing of the segment RS states that they issued statements to the effect that he did not commit the acts of which he was being accused and that LE was attempting to assassinate his character. So clearly they disputed LE version of events generally without commenting on the escape specifically. Second, they would have had to come to the conclusion, or at least suspicion, that LE was involved. That may or may not have been something they thought initially. Here we get into the role that time and probability play in a disappearance. When they were first told he disappeared they likely, as anyone would, were thinking in terms of a matter of days until he surfaced. Days became weeks, then weeks became months. The length of time someone has been missing is a factor in how their disappearance is perceived. They may well have bought that he ran for it, at least initially, and only later began to question due to the fact that he never contacted them after what would have been too long of a period. And of course its possible that they never reached this particular conclusion (I find that less likely nevertheless). Third, assuming that they reached the same conclusion, at whatever time, they would have to "allege" this so to speak. And this is the major break in the logic postulated. The fact is, his family alleging this would not necessarily help matters unless they had evidence which I doubt they had. A good attorney would likely advise them not to issue such a statement without having some proof. And even if they did so it would be unlikely to change anything...Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? And finally Fourth, even if they fully believed this, and even perhaps had some kind of evidence, they may still not have been comfortable stating it because it would be leveling a serious accusation against LE in the area they lived. They may have feared for their own safety in saying anything. So no, the fact that they did not bring this up means virtually nothing in terms of refuting the theory that LE was involved in the disappearance. |
