Despite hosting the Saints, the Pelicans, 11 Super Bowls, and some of the biggest sporting events in America, New Orleans is rarely mentioned as one of MLB's leading expansion candidates.

In this sports documentary, we take a deep dive into the real reasons why Major League Baseball .

We explore the city's rich baseball history, the rise and fall of the New Orleans Zephyrs and Baby Cakes, attendance challenges, market size, television reach, corporate support, stadium concerns, and how New Orleans compares with expansion cities like Nashville, Salt Lake City, Portland, Charlotte, Montreal, and Sacramento.

This isn't a video arguing that New Orleans deserves an MLB team.

Instead, it's an objective look at why one of America's greatest sports cities has struggled to become a serious expansion candidate—and whether that could ever change in the future.

This video took over 100 hours to create and has been a project I've worked on a little bit almost every day for the last month and a half. Every script, edit, graphic, animation, and visual was created by me.
