Comedy historian Kliph Nesteroff is writing a definitive full-life biography of the late stand-up and SNL "Weekend Update" anchor Norm Macdonald. Published by William Morrow (an imprint of HarperCollins), the book draws on rare details about the comedian's early days provided by his older brother, Neil Macdonald. This upcoming book expands on the legacy of the beloved comic, who famously penned his own genre-smashing, highly fictionalized "memoir," Based on a True Story. In addition to Nesteroff's biography, a documentary about the late comedian's life and career is in the works at Netflix, with director Judd Apatow at the helm.
