Classic sci-fi shows define the genre today, but that doesn't mean all of them hold up in a modern setting.

I watched Logan's Run as a boy when it ran originally and I liked it. And I've watched it again as an adult and yeah some of the special effects haven't aged well, but I think they're mostly all right. And yeah the plots do get repetitive but I like that they were trying something different. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the character of Rem was the first ever android (as a series regular) to be seen in an American science fiction TV series. I don't count the robot in Lost In Space as an android because he doesn't look human at all.

I also watched the new Lost In Space (if I remember it ran for two seasons) and I only made it about halfway through the first season before I quit. I absolutely hated it, for one thing I thought the robot was actually kind of creepy and somewhat scary looking. Just my opinion, I also found some of the other characters unlikable.
