The final three episodes of Widow’s Bay Season 1 premiered in June, which pushed them past the Television Academy's strict May 31 cutoff. As a result, those episodes are ineligible for this year’s Emmys and will be rolled over into the next awards cycle, though the first seven episodes of the season are in full contention. Despite the finale rolling over, the show remains a massive late-season hit and is a strong contender across multiple categories on the FYC ballot. |
