To be honest, I got introduced to the franchise through the original animated TV series from 1985 instead of the toys, which I guess was the show’s actual function… to be honest. However, I’d learn later on in life that despite this show launching this franchise into the stratosphere and establishing itself as one of the best cartoon shows of that era, not everything was roses and sunshine during its production.
