AMC’s "Interview with the Vampire" Adds to Cast as it Turns into "The Vampire Lestat" for Season 3

Anne Rice’s "Interview with the Vampire" is getting a new name and some new cast members as it enters its third season.

The AMC drama series will be known as "The Vampire Lestat" for season three as it focuses on the second book in her Vampire Chronicles series.

The announcement was made at San Diego’s Comic-Con where cast and crew were on a panel.

New cast members include:

Jennifer Ehle (Lioness) as Gabriella
Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius
Damien Atkins (Slings & Arrows) as Magnus
Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux) as Baby Jenks
Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine Claire

Assad Zaman returns as Armand

AMC’s "The Vampire Lestat" Adds to Cast for Season 3

New cast members were announced at New York’s Comic-Con where cast and crew were on a panel and also shared a first-look.

- Sheila Atim (The Woman King) will play the vampire queen Akasha. Aaliyah played the role in the 2002 film adaptation of Queen of the Damned.

- Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) will play Larry, the founder of the band Lestat plays with.

- Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors) will play Salamander, a band member.

- Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities) will play Alex, a band member.

- Sarah Swire (The Boys) will play TC, a band member.
