Still Standing

US version of Still Standing is a family sitcom that aired four seasons from 2002-2006 on CBS. It starred Mark Addy who was later Hercules in Atlantis, Jami Gertz from Square Pegs, Renee Olstead, Taylor Ball, and Soleil Borda. Still Standing aired its first three seasons on Mondays and moved to Wednesdays for the final fourth season, a night where CBS sitcoms have not been successful for a very long time. While not on the level of Everybody Loves Raymond, Young Sheldon, or even Man With a Plan, I thought Still Standing was much better than overrated The King of Queens and also much better than its contemporary Yes, Dear which had a longer run.

Canadian version of Still Standing is a current reality show with a traveling comedian the CBC will be airing Monday nights at 11:30 when their fall 2026 schedule premieres. Strangely the show information they list doesn't say what season number will be airing in the fall.

Michael Jackson's famous Thriller song was released near the end of 1982. Long before that, two TV shows with the title Thriller aired. Both of them were anthologies. First version of Thriller in 1960 was hosted by Boris Karloff, airing in the US on NBC. Thriller anthology in 1973 was a UK version.
