Schmigadoon! Sets 2027 Launch For North American Tour

Schmigadoon!, the most Tony Award nominated production of the 2025-2026 Broadway season, will launch a North American Tour in September 2027, producers announced today.

The tour will premiere at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre before traveling across the U.S and Canada, with engagements slated for Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and others.

Additional cities and casting will be announced at a later date.

“Since we first set out to bring Schmigadoon! to the stage, our goal has always been to create a production that could be enjoyed on Broadway and beyond,” said the producers of Schmigadoon!.

“[Director] Christopher Gattelli and his incredible team of designers have built this show with craft and care in a way that will allow communities across all 50 states to experience the exact same joy, scale, and theatrical magic audiences are currently embracing on 41st Street. We’re also thrilled to place the show in the hands of theater groups nationwide through our licensing partnership with TRW, ensuring that Schmigadoon! can continue bringing people together through the joy of live theater for decades to come.”
