I notice that they have a female red ranger in Hasbro's remake so its obviously trying to break down gender roles here and of course I'm fine with that, but I know this is going to sound far-fetched and impossible, but I wonder if there will be a male pink and/or yellow ranger this time around in order to represent the LGBTQ community.
Of course any die-hard Power Rangers fan knows that the role of the pink and yellow ranger was always exclusively female, but again I'm not trying to be mean, rude or disrespectful to them in anyway, shape or form whatsoever but this also could face backlash if it were to happen so think of it as a "risk factor". |
