I have seen some them and other fans tend to agree about Shelley and Tanya. They had little to no acting experience.

Let me restate it... I don't go out of my way to watch their episodes.

Tiffany has really grown on me over the years. In fact, she's my second favorite Angel. Sabrina is my favorite, then Tiffany.

Nolan Miller, the costume designer for Charlie's Angels didn't mince words when he said point blank, that Shelley had a bad attitude and grew to be a diva on set. I'll change a bit of what he said to the TV Academy to make it less harsh, but essentially, this is how he described Shelley:
Quote:
"Two weeks, she turned into the shrew of the century, she could get so nasty and so shrewish to everybody that we all hated her within a month, and then we wanted to get rid of her you know... Like, somebody get rid of this shrew, so she didn’t last long and we were all happy.“

About half-way through Season 4, the powers that be suggested that Shelley work on her acting. Jaclyn Smith invited her to join her and Deirdre Hall's acting workshops which happened weekly at either Jaclyn or Deirdre's houses and consisted of them workshopping scenes together from Congreve, Brecht and Hansberry. After which, they would give one another extensive acting notes. Shelley refused and that was apparently, the death knell for her role on Charlie's Angels.

Why did Cheryl Ladd succeed as a replacement on Charlie's Angels when Shelley Hack struggled?

From what I understand, it was not Shelley Hack who caused the ratings dip in Season 4. It was Farrah Fawcett who caused the ratings dip. I read somewhere that when Kate Jackson left, Aaron Spelling had made an announcement that the first few episodes in Season 4 were a success, and they felt that they had survived Kate Jackson's departure. However, when Farrah Fawcett guest starred in Season 4, that was the first time when the show took a dip in ratings. In fact, each time Farrah appeared, the show took a dip in ratings. Did you know that Farrah Fawcett's last appearance was the lowest rated episode in the whole entire Season? It was Farrah's fault, but Shelley was unfairly blamed for the ratings dip. Personally, I love Season 4 and I loved Shelley as Angel Tiffany Wells. She is underrated.
