I sometimes have this problem too and I usually keep my remote on my headboard but sometimes the remote disappears under my bedsheets and I have sometimes had to dig under the bedsheets til I find the remote. I also am known to watch TV at 5AM because Dad's snoring is so loud it wakes me up but if only I had a shelf to put the remote in my room to find it easily
