Yeah, Grandma Cooper looked almost like she could be Barbara's Great Grandma more than just Grandma. Not so much in the face, but the old hair dos and old clothing styles , (Grandma Romano too), made women look so much older back in the day than older women now. I'm probably not that much younger than them and my hair and clothing don't look old. Glad it's not like that anymore.

But , a fun episode I thought.
Here’s Ed’s 2 mothers. See why I said the second one looks younger?

For an episode about Barbara’s engagement there’s a disappointing amount of Barbara in it.

Yeah Ann feeling like a failure and unable to be happy for Barb. I got a little emotional when Schneider brought Ann out of the snow and helped her get warm and dry. And when he told her I love you ms romano I cried.

He was being a good friend. Im about to start crying again now that Im thinking about the scene lol

I enjoyed Grandmom romano and Francine dad singing together. Its a shame he turned out to be a con man lol When they was alone at the apt I was thinking they was going to start making out and ann barbara and alex would walk in lol

Does make regular appearances from this point on?

BTW: I like Mark so much better than Max

That was a good episode. Ann basically had a breakdown. She seems to not take her birthday too well. This time turning 40. And it seemed selfish of her how she acted regarding Barbara's engagement. Mark's a nice guy, and Julie married with a baby on the way. Ann has a good job , family and friends . But on the other hand feeling life is going to fast, like a midlife crisis. It was nice of Schneider to look after her after she was out running around in freezing rain.

That was funny when Grandma decked Schneider thinking he was trying to have hanky panky with Ann when she was in Schneiders bed.

That was a good episode too. No, that is the last time we see the con man. Wow, Francine ratting out her own Father ! But good she was looking out for Ann's Mom's well being.

Did you know that Grandma and Francine are related in real life? Yep. The actresses are Aunt and Niece.

I figured you would like Mark, he is a good guy. Max is too, once you get to know him.

I meant to ask does Grandmom romano become a regular from now to end of the series?

But don’t you agree, an episode focusing on Barbara and Mark getting engaged could have been epic. This plot with Ann could have been the next episode follow up.

I thought you would hate that they never did any of Max’s family but found time to work in Francine’s father.
