didnt like Gift Horses at all, not as bad as No so Silent partner. It was one funny moment when Barbara asked Schneider has he ever been in between 2 grandmoms and he had to pause and think for a min

Grandmom cooper also played chrissy snow mother. She looked old enough to be her grandmom

I think the stick em up episode is my #1 for season 7 so far with Alex first love a close second. The white guy with the gun also robbed a bank on Different Strokes. The camera never zoomed in on the black guy face for me to see if he was on another show. And my man Bob, made the episode funny as hell when they was in the storage room. He was talking about his fantasy with Barbara in front of her mom and grandmom. And why did grandmom romano think someone wanted to eat cake while being robbed??

And where was Alex? was he missing because this was a season 6 episode?

I thought it was really funny. I loved when that organ was brought it and Schneider was playing it to make the Grandma's jealous of each other drama even more dramatic.

Yeah, Grandma Cooper looked almost like she could be Barbara's Great Grandma more than just Grandma. Not so much in the face, but the old hair dos and old clothing styles , (Grandma Romano too), made women look so much older back in the day than older women now. I'm probably not that much younger than them and my hair and clothing don't look old. Glad it's not like that anymore.

But , a fun episode I thought.

Very funny episode all around ! In the beginning when Ann was hiding under the counter and Barbara's boss made the excuse to send her out to mail something and she kept coming back and he was pushing Ann back down.

And them all sitting there wearing big party hats as they were being held hostage in the store room.

IDK. I kind of agree with Grandma Romano, maybe eating some good birthday cake would take a really bad, scary situation a little better ?

Another one of the reasons why this episode was good was because Alex WASN'T in it ! I guess he was supposed to be visiting his Mom? He wasn't in Gift horses either , it was nice having a break from him.

Also really it was strange Mark wasn't there for Barbara's surprise birthday party , being he was her new boyfriend!

I thought this Grandma Cooper looked younger than the one in The Graduation.

Gift Horses is high on my list because Barbara’s in the whole thing, but it’s basically a rehash of that episode with the same plot of the 2 grandmas fighting over Barbara.

Like TVFactFan said, this was a holdover season 6 episode, so no Mark yet.

Oh that's right. I remember reading here, you two discussing that before. No wonder why Barbara was only turning 20 . I thought she should have been 21 at least by than.

Yeah, with this episode first airing Jan 24, 1982 Valerie was only a few months away from being 22.

Being a female I was hoping Barbara would have opened up the boxes and showed all the clothes Grandma Cooper bought her. We love shopping and even if it's not our stuff that was bought, seeing other girls new clothes ! So we can go Oh, that's cute, love the color or ahh , not so great , of course pretending to the other female's face that we like it !
