"Reacher" Spin-off Starring Maria Sten as Neagley Gets Amazon Series Order

It’s official: Prime Video has given a series order to a "Reacher" spin-off, expanding the hit drama’s universe. It stars Maria Sten, reprising her fan favorite character from the mothership, Frances Neagley.

Alan Ritchson (Reacher) is expected to appear on the spin-off as a guest star.

Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, made the announcement at the Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event in London.

“As Reacher continues to resonate with our global customers in a profound way, expanding on the storytelling and characters with a spinoff was an easy decision,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “With Nick and Nicholas as well as our partners Skydance and CBS Studios, we’re confident this new chapter, starring the amazing Maria Sten, will not only honor the Reacher legacy but also bring fresh energy and excitement to new and longtime fans alike.”

Prime Video‘s "Reacher" spinoff about Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley will be titled… "Neagley".

Production on Season 1 began Feb. 18; no timetable for a release date has yet been set.

Joining the cast are Damon Herriman (Justified) as Lawrence Cole, while Greyston Holt (Bitten, Riverdale) will play Detective Hudson Riely.

Matthew Del Negro (Teen Wolf, Scandal) will play Pierce Woodrow, Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) has been cast as Renee, and Jasper Jones will fill the role of Keno.
