Deadline said NBCUniversal likely won't be the last studio to make a move like this, but what about Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and Inside Edition (all of which are owned by CBS Media Ventures, which I think has the most fist-run syndicated shows currently on the air)? If news fatigue starts becoming a real thing as even the best first-run syndication fixtures get cancelled and replaced by more newscasts than what already exists, it might be time to give up on supporting our local broadcast-network affiliates altogether.
