One notable omission was the bizarre death of Chuckles the Clown on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He was dressed as Peter Peanut and he was stepped on by an elephant. It was one of my all time favorite sitcoms. Even the funeral scene wherre Mary burst into tears at the end was a classic.
