Michelle Pfeiffer Confirmed to Headline Taylor Sheridan’s "Yellowstone" Spin-off "Madison"

MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios officially announced Oscar nominee Michelle Pfeiffer will star in and executive produce "Madison", Taylor Sheridan‘s next installment in the "Yellowstone" franchise, previously titled "2024".

Deadline previously reported Pfeiffer was involved in the project, along with Patrick J. Adams and Kurt Russell, who have yet to be officially confirmed. Pfeiffer and Russell had been in talks for months, with their names first tied to the series in February and June, respectively.



“Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace,” said Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global Co-CEO and President/CEO, Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios.

“She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”



According to the logline, the series is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.

Elle Chapman and Beau Garrett are also joining the cast of the Taylor Sheridan Paramount Network series, playing the daughters of Pfeiffer's character. Adams was in talks to join The Madison earlier this month.

“The Madison,” the new upcoming series in the “Yellowstone” universe, has added four new cast members.


- Kevin Zegers (Fear the Walking Dead, The Rookie: Feds) will play Cade, described as “Stacy’s (Pfeiffer) new neighbor, asked to look out for the place until the family showed up.”


- Rebecca Spence (61st Street, Lady in the Lake) will play Liliana Weeks, “Stacy’s friend and a fellow member of the New York City elite.”


- Alaina Pollack (On Call, The Surrender) will play Macy, said to be “Abigail’s (Beau Garrett) youngest daughter, who also grew up in a wealthy New York City family.”


- Danielle Vasinova (1923, The Bay) will play Kestrel, “an indigenous woman married to a Montana rancher who lives with her family on a double-wide trailer on their ranch.”

Kurt Russell has been cast as a series regular in the new "Yellowstone" drama spinoff "The Madison" from Taylor Sheridan, starring Michelle Pfeiffer.
