TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 124,377	Danny McBride is writing a masculinity-themed book https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv...en-1236487814/ The Righteous Gemstones, Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals vet’s upcoming Thrilling Tales of Modern Men, out June 23, is a short story collection that will expand upon the masculine themes of his HBO shows. “Between seasons of writing the Righteous Gemstones, I wrote short fiction to shift gears and tell more stories, even if just for myself” says McBride. “This collection takes place in the spaces men build for themselves when the world moves on without asking their permission. These stories aren’t here to fix men. They’re here to watch them spiral out of control, eat ****, get back up, and occasionally do something accidentally decent.”
