What would become the final episode of Three's a Crowd, "A Star is Born", was first broadcast on ABC on April 9, 1985. Thus, this brought an end to John Ritter's nine year run as Jack Tripper, dating back to the start of Three's Company back in March 1977. This also officially brought to a close the Three's Company universe, which includes the short-lived Ropers spin-off from 1979-80.

It's just odd that this episode and in the episode "Daddy's Little Girl" is when we see Jack and Vicky have a TV set in the apartment.
I know TV shows are in their own universe but where would they stash the TV set other times, the kitchen? the fire escape? the closet? |

How do you think Jack's career turned out in the years after the final episode of Three's a Crowd?
