I was 10 in 1975. I guess I'm One of the few that did watch from the beginning. I watched all the Norman Lear shows. And I stayed with it all 9 years. This was the Golden age of sitcoms as Far as I'm Concerned. I just know I had the biggest crush on Valerie.

Wow - I forgot CBS put it right after M*A*S*H...That's was a killer timeslot - it was #14 that season (It's 4th Year, Farell's and Morgan's first season as BJ and Potter respectively) It had dropped from #4 the year before becuase they actually moved it out of Tuesday for half the season, and this was the first week back on Tuesdays! (ODAAT was #12 for the season, so a good lead in...)

Valerie Bertinelli had 1 dream while making One Day at a Time that still hasn't come true

The dream was that while filming the first episode she was thinking one day she’d show the show to her kids. But she says her kid hasn’t seen it. Which I bet is hyperbole. I bet he’s seen it.
