Basically, the show has been accused of having Gina be seen as more attractive, educated and desirable. While Pam was seen in a decidedly more negative way. |

Martin hired his cast from people who he had worked with before and THEY WERE All FRIENDS OF HIS. |

I've recently heard the argument that Martin wouldn't go over too well if it came on the air today. One could only imagine the backlash over the way that Martin would go in on Pam. At the time, them going at each other was simply comedy gold roasting, but today a lot of people would not see it that way:
