UP Schedule: 32 New Episodes of Hudson and Rex over Thanksgiving Week

With The Mary Tyler Moore Show joining, this will be the new weekday schedule starting Monday.

6-10AM Heartland
10AM-12PM The Mary Tyler Moore Show
12-3PM Reba
3-5PM Last Man Standing
5-7PM Hudson and Rex
7-11PM The Rookie
11PM-3AM Blue Bloods
3-6AM Paid Programming

Next Thursday is the 2 hour season finale of The Sunshine Murders. UP had better not be copying Hallmark, which has preempted their entire syndicated lineup for all day D grade movies in November for too long now. The regular weekday lineup on UP airs Monday-Wednesday the week of October 27. But on Thursday, October 30 is all day Christmas movies. My guide doesn't go to October 31 yet but it is probably all movies then as well because of Halloween. Surely the regular lineup returns on November 3. Newest addition The Mary Tyler Moore Show will be in season 5, still a lot to air to complete the first cycle. Great addition but needs advertised a lot more, I haven't seen one solitary ad for it yet. And it would be nice if in November Mary Tyler Moore switches places with Reba with MTM airing 1-3PM in a higher profile slot it deserves. Schedule a weekend marathon to give more exposure as well.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show will get through the end of its first cycle next week. I just found out UP will be airing massive marathons of Hudson and Rex seasons 4 and 6 which have not aired on linear US TV yet. This is the Hudson and Rex schedule starting November 24.

Monday, November 24
5-9PM Episodes 1-4 of Season 4

Tuesday, November 25
5-9PM Episodes 5-8 of Season 4

Wednesday, November 26
5PM-1AM Episodes 9-16 of Season 4

Thursday, November 27 Thanksgiving
no new episodes

Friday, November 28
9AM-1AM all 16 episodes of Season 6

I do not know the rest of the schedule for Thanksgiving week yet. Well, I won't be watching as much of the all you can eat Wings marathon as I thought with all these new episodes of Hudson and Rex.

Hudson and Rex is UP's new Gilmore Girls. All of season 4 will air tomorrow, all of season 5 Thursday, and all of season 6 Friday. Monday the regular lineup returns for a few weeks anyway. Thursday night The Rookie and Blue Bloods are totally off for an extended Hudson and Rex marathon.

No surprise, it is Christmas movies all day next week. But it is still much better than Hallmark's 24/7 barrage that starts before Halloween now. Starting Friday December 26, UP will be airing all day marathons of shows. Heartland on the 26th, The Rookie on the 27th, Hudson and Rex on the 28th and 29th, The Rookie on the 30th, and Reba on the 31st. My guide doesn't go through the new year yet. Too bad The Mary Tyler Moore Show probably won't get one of those all day marathons.

Hudson & Rex will have another marathon on January 1st, followed by Blue Bloods on the 2nd and more of The Rookie on the 3rd.
