The segment shows us multiple examples of Lorene’s mental state. If I’m not mistaken, it helped contribute to the end of her marriage and losing custody of her children. And it had to be a contributing factor to her going missing for so many years. I’m pretty sure the family members knew this going into the reunion. But they wanted to be assured that she was still alive.

The kid voice on the phone in the L'Enfant episode is unintentionally humorous. If not for the seriousness of the situation, you could just take it as a kid pranking Bashire. OTOH, that's part of the creepiness.

It was very nice to see how much love and understanding the family all maintained for her throughout the decades of her absence, and that her kids were still interested and willing to reunite, which isn't always the case. All things considered, this case went as well as could be hoped for. |

The real name of bigamist and con man Bo Tanner in one of the lost segments. His name is Eddie Riddlehoover. I don't know why, but I burst out laughing. It's such a fitting name, it almost sounds made up.
Riddle--he is a riddle Hoover--hoovering is an abuse tactic designed to suck you in, see also: love bombing. |

A cheap looking wig that somehow became nightmare fuel for most of the people on this board thanks to a police artist. That is unintentionally hilarious. Stack's delivery was serious as it usually was, but you could detect a hint of "this is bizarre even for UM" in his voice. He always had a way of communicating when he thought the situations were a little out there.

I'm in need of a new coat and have been searching online for a week for the right one. Of course, it's a black leather jacket! That's all I've worn for 30 years, although not cheesy ones as depicted in the segment. In fact, I likely have a closet full of them, so if we ever do a message board get together, I should bring them and we can do a video rocking out to the best song ever written!

Watching the 1991 Halloween episode, and there's a reenactment during the St. James Hotel segment where a worker in the kitchen witnesses a glass float through the air. The actor just stares at it with completely dead-eyed neutrality.

It was definitely funny to me just how much Jordan Knight sounded like he was nailing a Christopher Walken impression in the Kari Lynn Nixon episode.

Lionel Luviano asking his brother "Do I look ok?" as he's coming out of the bathroom in makeup and smoothing his wig has always made me chuckle.

The case of Joe Shepherd (Episode 4 FilmRise), when the sheriffs come to question him about Roxanne Woodson. His father says, "Gotta have shoes." I don't know why, but that struck me as funny.

Lena Marie Wilson's segment. The actress playing her does a good job. But its the whole "YOU SEE I DO HAV DA POWAH!" "DO YU BELEIV IN JEEZUS" "WE MUS BURN DIS MONEY" Sometimes I literally will randomly say it in that exact inflection and tone because its so hilarious to me.
She genuinely reminds me of Lanie Kazan. The part with the sheet....the part in the basement with the box of dirt that she pours water on and it turns to blood then the victim gets excited and hugs Lena....and of course burning the money. TIE THREE KNOTS. three knots? YES and how casually she forces the victim down to pray lmao |

Jack Quinn segment (paraphrasing)
"How's this car running?" "Not bad, could be better." "What do you mean it could be better?" |
